What's Coming

Built for South Africa.
Built with purpose.

Here's what Uphi will give your community from day one.

🔍
Missing Persons Board
A live, searchable board of missing persons cases officially reported to SAPS — with photos, descriptions, and last known locations. Share in seconds to WhatsApp, Facebook, or X.
💡
Anonymous Intel — Goes Straight to the Detective
Submit a tip on any case. We route it directly to the investigating officer's email. Your identity is never stored, never logged, never known. You get a token to track your tip's status.
💜
GBV Case Support
GBV victims and their families can post cases with full anonymity options. Witnesses can submit intel safely. Every post requires a SAPS case number — protecting victims from further harm.
🚗
Stolen Vehicle Sightings
Post a stolen vehicle — registration, make, model, colour. The community spots it and tips instantly reach the detective. Real-time community eyes on every hijacked car.
⚠️
Murder & Serious Crime
Witnesses to serious crimes who fear going to the police can now route what they know directly to the detective working the case — anonymously and instantly.
🔒
Zero Data. Total Anonymity.
We store nothing about tipsters. No IP address, no email, no device fingerprint. Not even we know who submitted a tip. Your safety is engineered into the system, not bolted on.
How It Works

Simple.
Powerful. Anonymous.

Three steps from community knowledge to detective's inbox.

1
Family or detective posts a case
Any case that has been officially reported to SAPS can be posted on Uphi. The poster provides the SAPS case number and investigating officer's contact. The case goes through moderation and appears on the public board.
2
Community sees the case and knows something
Someone in the community — a neighbour, a bystander, a witness who is afraid to go to the police — sees the case on Uphi. They click "Submit Anonymous Intel" and describe what they know.
3
The tip reaches the detective. Immediately.
The moment the tipster hits send, the intel is emailed directly to the assigned investigating officer. Not a call centre. Not a queue. The detective. The tipster receives a token to check if their tip was received and acted on.
